I am rather new to Wicca, but love it already.

Pentacle

For the longest time I was Christian, having been born into a Christian family. Then I beggan to doubt the presence of God, though I felt that there must be something out there.

I've always been fascinated by the thought of magick and witches, and when I found out about Wicca it was like finding a safe haven.

It's not like my family is super religious or anything, but when I was looking at a Wicca book in the library, my dad told me to put it away. He told me not to get mixed up in it, saying that every Wiccan he's ever met was always a little messed up.

That steered me clear for a while, but I began researching it again and found that there's really nothing wrong with Wicca, and that my darling Daddy is wrong.

I created my Book of Shadows and already have many things added into it. Yet I still keep it secret, afraid of what my family would think (and do) if they found out.
